History Paper - The Two Key TopicsHistory paper has two main themes: scholarship and historical interpretation. These topics will be taught together in a module because they are one in the same. There is nothing else more important to learning history, even though other subjects are sometimes taught in conjunction with this one.History focuses on primary subjects. It uses its focus to provide a complete picture of that particular period of time. All the major events that shaped a civilization are covered; from the rise and fall of a city to the rise and fall of an empire. Understanding how the civilizations change over time is a very important part of the process of scholarship.Today, we know that civilization, when started, had only a few ideas and most of those ideas were about how to survive and protect the tribe against their enemies, including the major wars. Once it had gained more freedom, things would become more complicated. Eventually, it became a complex society, with poli tical leaders, working with many people on various issues, who needed an intellectual guide to help them understand why, and what needed to be done.So, what did the books do? They explained all the events and strategies that allowed for a civilization to reach its present stage of development, and provided you with an understanding of why those books were written, and what you need to know to be a part of the process of civilization.History paper focuses on all of the topics that are included in this discussion. It should take a class period that takes up a lot of the lecture time for the entire semester, or the entire year. For this reason, the class topic is not always the most important thing, but it should have the highest priority. Any single topic can be divided into multiple sections for examination; the modules often break down these topics into sections for your convenience.The topic of the class should be the main topic for this subject matter; this gives the professor a p lace to start from and explain the subject matter. The professor should always give an outline for the course and explain in some detail what they are planning to cover.Once the class session has started, and you have started reading the assigned textbook or chapter, you should begin to study the overview that you were given. You should not spend the whole day studying the topic, as this can become boring. But, each day should have something different to study, because one day may have some new information, while the next day will not. Therefore, you should spend some time each day doing research into the subject matter, if you feel that the information that you are finding does not fit well into your teaching.After a week or so, you should review the material that you have learned in the paper and see if there is anything you can do to further your knowledge. This is a good time to try reading some of the secondary sources to see what they have to say, and to take some notes. You m ay be tempted to skim through the books and magazines and computer and text files that you were reading, but you should be reviewing the material that you have learned. By reviewing the material in class, you can build on the information and hopefully learn something new.
